On Mondays to Thursdays and for matinees there may be Standby reductions available for Students, 6th Formers, Senior Citizens and Unemployed (UB40 holders). Generally these are any remaining best seats for about 1/3 of the normal price. These are usually available for cash only, from 1 hour before the performance, on production of suitable identification, and are not bookable. Again check with the Box Office for their policy.

The Royal National Theatre and English National Opera at the London Coliseum offer some cheap tickets to personal callers at the Box Office only from 10.00am on the day of performance. These may be restricted to two per person. At the Royal Court Theatre and Soho Theatre all seats are £5.00 on Monday nights.

Group reductions are usually available for Monday to Thursday performances and sometimes for Fridays and Saturdays. The size of groups and prices vary, so check with the Box Office. Some theatres have established a group booking office and send out regular newsletters with information and offers. Some also have an education office with study guides, information packs and group offers available for schools and colleges.
